Match the hinge underneath your key.

Hinges are the small plastic clips located underneath each key. Most keyboard models use one of a few different hinge types, so replacement keys are not always universal.

Find the matching type Once you find a matching image, use the letter/number code listed under the “Type” column.

Once you have selected your hinge type, compare your keyboard to the image below. Key shapes, spacing, and special keys can vary between similar models, so verifying the layout helps ensure you order the correct replacement key.
