How to Order Replacement Keys

Match the hinge underneath your key.
Hinges are the small plastic clips located underneath each key. Most keyboard models use one of a few different hinge types, so replacement keys are not always universal.
Compare the images
Look at the missing key area on your keyboard and compare it to the hinge images shown below.
Find the matching type
Once you find a matching image, use the letter/number code listed under the “Type” column.
Select the same option
Choose that same hinge type when selecting your replacement key options.

Once you have selected your hinge type, compare your keyboard to the image below. Key shapes, spacing, and special keys can vary between similar models, so verifying the layout helps ensure you order the correct replacement key.

Compare the shape and position of the keys on your keyboard with the image shown below.
Look at special keys
Pay close attention to larger keys such as Enter, Shift, Backspace, and arrow keys.
Confirm before ordering
If the layout does not match your keyboard, you may have selected the wrong model.
